Of Afton

Donna Rose Scarpelli, 72 of Afton passed away unexpectedly on Mon. March 28, 2016 at her home.  She was predeceased by her parents, Arthur & Rose (Arteca) Scarpelli and a brother, Nicholas John Scarpelli and her many beloved horses and a dog, Prince.  She is survived by her 2 daughters & sons-in-law,  Alison & Kenneth DeGraw, Binghamton, Denise & Ollie Gonzales, Afton, 2 grandchildren, Luke & Priscilla Rose, and also friends, nephews, a niece and cousins.  She was a member of Afton Presbyterian Church and a retired employee of River Mede Manor in Binghamton.  Our utmost thanks and gratitude to her home health aide, Nancy who helped take care of our mother at home.  We will be forever grateful to her.

Funeral Services will be held at the Afton Presbyterian Church on Friday at 11 a.m.  Rev. Colin Gibson will officiate.  Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Afton.  The family will receive friends at the Afton Presbyterian Church on Fri. from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to service.
