I am so sorry for your loss. I may have only met one or two of you and it was years ago! I loved Betty so much and I am so sorry I didn't know of her passing until just last evening when I returned from a trip out of town. I will miss our late night talks on the phone and all of her very wise advise when I was having troubles. Our friendship spanned over 30 years. She was one of the bravest most courageous women I know. She once told me when I mentioned my biggest fear was death. She said she was not afraid. It gave me hope that someday I could understand her wisdom. I have so many happy and funny stories of her in my mind. I hope you also will be comforted by you happiest of memories. I was always telling her she could adopt me as my parent passed in my early 30's and I was an adopted child. so I would say to her...Betty you can always adopt me. I even come with 'papers'. I don't know if you have thought on having a Catholic mass said for her at St. Agnes, but I do know she often said she would like to go to mass there....My love and many prayers will be said for your family. And even though she is not physically available to me by phone....I know she has God's ear now and will certainly try to help us all thru him Jesus Christ. I can't even imagine your pain as you are her children and she loved you all so much! God Bless!
