Dear Gramma, you were the best grandmother anyone could ask for. You were always there for me. Indeed you were like a second mom. I think it's because we lived together for many many years. I remember the Saturday walks to the King Kullen shopping center, where you often treated me to breakfast at the Bagel Shop and I'd get a poppy seed bagel with cream cheese and a Snapple. Or we would go to the pizzeria for a few slices and a soda for lunch. I remember you taking me to the bowling alley so I can play a few games, and to the library to look up books and magazines. Afterwards, we would go grocery shopping at King Kullen , where I would get my free cookie offered by their bakery dept. and walk back with a cart full of groceries , often including cold cuts, Italian bread, and macaroni salad. As I got older and got my drivers license, we still made time for each other. Even though I was busy working 2 jobs and going to college full time, we always scheduled a day every week, usually Thursdays, to spend quality time together. We used to go out for lunch, and I would help you go grocery shopping at Shop Rite or IGA. There are so many fond memories I have of you, I can go on for an eternity! I will miss the stories you used to tell, the humor, and all the holidays and special occasions we shared over the years. Its hard to believe that you're gone. But maybe that's because I feel you're still here, just in a different form. I know someday I will join you and we will be United once again. I love you so much and miss you lots. Rest in Peace to one of the most giving, generous, and caring people I know. ❤❤❤❤❤

Loving memories of my Cousin Mary will continue to warm my heart now and forever.
I am so grateful I was able to connect with her and tell her how much I love her and appreciated her love, hospitality and understanding. It was difficult times that we lived through. Driving from Long Island to Ozone Park was an experience in the old jalopy, yet the journey seemed tolerable only because Cousin Mary just might be making her delicious Braciola! What a fantastic cook!
Cousin Mary, perhaps unknowingly, was a wonderful mentor as well. I remember how she would dress, fix her hair, makeup and put on lipstick just to go grocery shopping! She was always at her best, whether she was shopping, cooking or doing dishes ~ she did it all with class! My Cousin Mary was exceptionally devoted to her husband and her children and the “Home Sweet Home “she so lovingly nurtured. When she smiled at me her eyes twinkled~ that’s how I knew she was genuine!
Rest in Peace my dearest Cousin Mary ~ I will think of you often and always with fond memories ~ Thank you!

My deepest condolences to Gina, Cosmo, her Brother Anthony and all the Family. Mary was a warm, beautiful, talented, giving person who was my inspiration and hero. She was a fabulous singer who played, taught and prepared me to sing the first song I sang in public. A loving cousin, she nurtured both me and my sister Carolyn. Truly, a beautiful soul.
I carry her in my heart. Cousin Vincent (Citarelli)

Grace also remembers Mary's gentle sweetness, without puffed up Ego. How she would focus on the person she was speaking to, making them feel that what they were saying or thinking was important to her. A very Special Person.

Dear Gina,
I was very saddened to hear of your beautiful mother's passing. My sincerest condolences to you and Cosmo Jr and to your family. I remember her fondly from my childhood, she seemed to me larger-than-life and most glamorous in her Sophia Loren-like "Italian-ness". May you always be comforted by her memory.

Sincerely,
Richard (formerly of SOP).

Dear Gina and Cosmo., I am so sorry to learn of Mary"s passing. She was always such a beautiful person, inside and out. I have so many wonderful memories of her, and am truly blessed to have known her. Always had a beautiful smile on her face, and was so giving of herself. May it comfort you to know that she is no longer suffering, and is in a better place now. May she rest in peace, Amen.
