My condolences to the family of Mae Hinkleman. The Death of a loved one is so devasting and not always easy to get through it along. I found God's Word the Bible helps.
Phililppians 4:6&7 helps because it encourages us to turn to God in Prayer and he will give us Peace and understanding as you endure this very difficult time. You can read this scripture online at www.jw.org

So, so sorry for your loss! Mae certainly was a sweet, sweet person. She will be missed dearly by those who knew her and were close to her.
Lu & Al, as for you two, giving up your own lives to take care of your Mom, as a promise to your Dad before he passed away , is just so remarkable, generous, thoughtful, I could go on. You two are truly an amazing couple, your Mom was very lucky to have you there for her, you saw her through all the ups and downs with her disease, and stayed strong for yourselves and her.
In the coming days, may you find comfort and the strength to move forward then one day take a look back see what you had done for your Mom. You have many memories and she will always be thankful of you and will always remain in your heart. She and your Dad are smiling down, they are happy to be together once again.

Luann and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Luann, I only knew you and Mae briefly through my visits to my own mom at the nursing home. Mae was the sweetest, nicest lady. You took wonderful care of your mom. May you always cherish sweet memories of her and of life well lived.

My sincere condolences to the family. Words are never enough to take away the pain; but our loving heavenly Father provides us with comfort in his words on what he will soon do for all mankind- for he promises that soon through his son Jesus Christ he will bring about a resurrection of our loved ones at John 5:25, 28, 29 and Acts 24:15. God also promises to soon remove all suffering and death forever- Revelation 21:3-5. May God provide the family with strength and inner peace as you all reflect on his promises and cherish wonderful memories of Mae. So many fond memories of Mae~from Judy's wedding & her worrying about her back brace & her dress to the high school nurses office. And most recently the wonderful visit where she just kept holding my hand. She is always with us, in our thoughts, our memories and in our hearts as all her family is. Praying God sends peace to your hearts during this painful time. All my love to you.
