Ruth E. McQuiston, 91 of Afton passed away Thurs. Sept. 22, 2016 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.  She was predeceased by 2 children, Barbara Gillen & James McQuiston III.  She is survived by her husband of almost 60 years, James McQuiston Jr., Afton, a son, Kevin B. McQuiston, Afton, a grandson, Zeph, 2 great grandchildren, Chloe & Kalli, and also several nieces and nephews.  She was a retired employee of the Newburg Evenings News.
