My thoughts and prayers to my sister Joanne and her family. I will always remember Shod as a good natured, hard working and kind hearted man. He was a great father to his children and a loving husband. I will remember him always. God watch over my sister who I will always love.

My condolences to the Decker family. Shod taught my children, who were young at the time, a very valuable lesson...HONOR....one that they have carried into their adulthood. Bless you all.

Many years ago Shod Decker taught a young boy the importance of a handshake and a mans word when he sold him his first ice shanty. I was only 15 and remember that exact moment like it was only yesterday. A firm handshake and the honor of a mans word is something that i have held close and true to life since that moment. Something many young never get to learn. For this i thank him and will make sure his memory, and teachings of life are passed on to further generations. My deepest condolences to the family of Sherland R. Decker. I pray the love of god enfolds you during this difficult time. When you speak of him speak not with tears, for thoughts of him should not be sad. Let memories of the times you shared give you comfort, for his life was rich with meaning.

Warmest Regards,

Ryan Ball
